Aryn Colvin, Social Catering Manager
Aryn arrived at the Cincinnati Marriott RiverCenter in April of 2016 and has loved every moment since then. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2011 with a degree in Meeting and Event Planning: Business Technology. Before arriving at the Marriott RiverCenter Aryn worked with a team on helping plan and execute corporate events. She is committed to making sure that no matter how large the event, her clients feel special and remember that this is the beginning of their next chapter together! The most valuable thing that she does as a wedding planner is make sure the planning process is fun and relaxed for the bride and groom. It brings a smile to her face knowing that she has help create a beautiful wedding for Brides, Grooms, and their families.
Duane Kuhn, Executive Chef
Executive Chef Duane Kuhn is a 1981 graduate of Milford High School and the Live Oaks Career Development Center. Chef Duane’s 1st line cook position was at the Harley Hotel in Kenwood where he was hired by our General Manager, David Bowles! His 1st Chef position came in 1988 at the Holiday Inn Downtown where he stayed until he became the Executive Chef for the Embassy Suites RiverCenter in 1990. Since his 1st Executive Chef role 26 years ago, Chef Duane has held many titles including Corporate Chef for Willie’s Sports Café and Food & Beverage Director for the Kings Island Resort. Before joining the Marriott RiverCenter, Chef Duane was most recently at the Holiday Inn Eastgate.
Chef Duane has been married to his wife, Holly, for 30 years and they have two grown children: Lanette & Travis. Both are married and he notes that he does not have grandchildren…yet.
